UHMW-PE AND EPDM LAMINATE

For better bonding performance and improvement of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) or glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), we recommend using our laminate made out of UHMW-PE and EPDM rubber.

This perfect match combines the excellent properties of UHMW-PE on the one side and the flexibility and impact absorbing properties of rubber on the other side.

Since UHMW-PE is not very easy to bond to other substrates, the EPDM enhances the bonding in a 2K bonding system.

Depending on the application we can modify the thickness of the individual component to get the best result.
