PROPERTIES OF PERGLIDE® UHMW-PE FILMS

UHMW-PE films have many interesting properties such as:

excellent abrasion resistance and impact strength
non stick and self lubricating surface
excellent chemical resistance
water repellent (Hydrophobic)
excellent dielectric strength
stress crack resistant
low coefficient of friction
surface is easy to structure (e.g. grinding)
long service life without loss of function

Depending on the application we can modify the compound to improve the one or other property.

UHMW-PE is also available with certificates for food contact and according the FDA Regulations and according EU 102011
