The temperature Zones of UHMW-PE are important to understand.

Although the recommended longterm use temperature is approx. 176 F to 194 F, this material can still be processed at temperatures up to 572 F

It really depends on the application and formulation.

Crystalline melting point: 266 - 275 F
Natural film turns transparent, but does not flow
Softening point: 176 – 194 F
Recommended permanent use temperature
Process stability: up to approx. 572 F
Depending on process, time and application
Best bonding temperature: up to approx. 358 F
Depending on process, time and application
In different applications also -320 F
